President & CEO
Adriann Murawski
Adriann Murawski is a seasoned government affairs executive with nearly two decades of experience leading advocacy, policy, and engagement efforts for some of the largest professional trade associations in the world, including organizations with operating budgets of over $300 million annually.
Adriann’s specialty is relationship building. An expertise shaped by a childhood spent moving to different cities (parents met in the Air Force). Her relationship building skills were refined through years of engagement with federal, state, and local elected officials. She has lobbied and advised policymakers at every level of government and is widely respected for her ability to navigate complex political environments and drive meaningful results.
Every move during Adriann’s childhood fostered a love of electoral politics. Starting with student body council elections in middle school, she later went on to win and influence more elections. In 2004, she was a Team Leader (in Iowa) of paid field staff that knocked on 30,000 doors in two months increasing the margin of victory for a candidate by 3,000 votes. She was recruited to serve as a Legislative Aide in the Iowa General Assembly. In 2010, she helped win the reelection of David Orr for the Cook County Clerk’s Office by nearly 80 percent. Most recently, she was instrumental in helping to educate voters on the negative impact of increasing real estate transfer taxes, helping to obtain victory over a controversial ballot referendum in 2024.
Adriann has been quoted in The New York Times for her work on first-time homebuyer savings accounts. She has been recognized as a Forty Under 40® honoree by the Association Forum, a prestigious recognition for high achieving professionals. Adriann is a Goldie Scholar and active member with the Goldie Initiative to help advance women leaders in commercial real estate. She is a recipient of the distinguished Presidential Award from the Chicago Association of REALTORS® for advancing government affairs interests in Chicago (3rd largest city in the U.S). And she is a graduate (2007) of the respected Illinois Women’s Institute for Leadership (IWIL) program to help women prepare and run for political office.
Adriann holds a Master’s in Real Estate from Georgetown University (Washington, DC) and a Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) from DePaul University (Chicago, IL). She earned her Bachelor’s in Political Science and Psychology from The University of Iowa (Iowa City, IA).
